Howard explains that the process of retirement planning involves more that just executing investment portfolio, thus a good financial planner needs to ask and know clients’ plans for retirement, “like where they want to live, how big of a house they want to won, how much traveling they plan to do or how log they hope to work.” Without that knowledge is impossible to give a thorough advise. Additionally, Howard also advises to ask financial planners to explain fees behind every strategy.
