Congratulations on your recent graduation from high school or to the family member who just finished their K-12 journey and will now be getting ready for their first year at college! □ Review all Assets Dedicated to Paying for College vs Cost of Tuition
□ Review FAFSA Options
□ Review Payment Options for Tuition/Room and Board (Federal Student Loans, Scholarships, Private Loans, 529 Plan, Retirement Accounts, Lines of Credit)
□ Create a Budget for all Spending for each Semester/Quarter at College
□ Decide if a Credit Card is a Good Idea
□ Speak to an Attorney about HIPAA, POA, Healthcare Directives
□ Review Car Insurance (Especially if Going to Out-of-State College)
□ Review Health Insurance to Make Sure Student is Covered Properly at School (Especially if the University is Out-of-State)
□ Review all of these items with your financial advisor
